मैं ... किताब खरीदामैंने ... किताब खरीदी (a transitive verb in the past takes ने, and then agrees with किताब rather than with you)
वह बहुत अच्छा हैवह बहुत अच्छी है (किताब is feminine, so the adjective follows it)

Why Hindi Conversation Practice Works

Hindi is unusual among the languages English speakers take up: most learners arrive with an ear for it already. Films, music, a grandparent, a colleague's phone call — the sound is familiar long before the grammar is. What is missing is production. You can follow a whole conversation and still find that nothing comes out when it is your turn.

That gap is exactly what conversation practice closes. The AI holds an ordinary Hindi conversation at your level and corrects each mistake where it happens, with a line on why. The parts that feel arbitrary on paper — why मैंने and not मैं, why खरीदी and not खरीदा — settle once you have got them wrong a few times and been corrected on the spot.

Whether you are talking with in-laws, working with colleagues in Delhi or Bengaluru, or finally getting past the Hindi you absorbed from films, daily conversation is what turns it from a language you understand into one you use.

Real-Time Corrections

Hindi Mistakes the AI Catches Every Day

These are the errors learners make most often in Hindi conversation — and exactly what Conversaide corrects in real time with a short explanation.

The ने that rearranges the sentence

In the past tense a transitive verb puts ने on the subject, and from that point the verb agrees with the object instead of the speaker. English gives you no instinct for it, and it is the first thing to come apart at conversational speed.

मैं चाय पी।
मैंने चाय पी।

Verb endings that carry gender

Verbs and adjectives agree with the gender of whoever or whatever they describe. Learners tend to lock onto the form their textbook happened to use and keep it for years, which is immediately audible to anyone listening.

मेरी बहन स्कूल जाता है।
मेरी बहन स्कूल जाती है।

Nouns shift before a postposition

Hindi puts its markers after the noun, and the noun changes shape to meet them: लड़का becomes लड़के before को, कमरा becomes कमरे in कमरे में. Leaving the dictionary form in place lands the sentence slightly wrong every time.

लड़का को बुलाओ।
लड़के को बुलाओ।

Built for Hindi Learners

Devanagari you read without noticing

Every message doubles as script practice. Reading Hindi inside a conversation you actually care about does more for fluency than working through the alphabet on its own.

आप or तुम, settled by use

Picking the wrong level of address is the most audible mistake a learner can make in Hindi, and no table teaches it. The AI corrects register alongside grammar, so the choice turns into instinct.

The Hindi people actually speak

Conversations use everyday Hindi, including the English words that genuinely live inside it, rather than the heavily Sanskritised register textbooks reach for and nobody uses at home.

FAQ

Hindi Practice Questions

Do I need to read Devanagari before I start?

It helps a lot, and it takes most learners a week or two. Devanagari is far more regular than English spelling — letters sound the way they look — so once the alphabet is in place the reading follows quickly, and every conversation afterwards keeps it sharp.

Is this Hindi or Urdu?

Conversations are in Hindi, written in Devanagari. In everyday speech Hindi and Urdu overlap so heavily that most of what you practice here will be understood by Urdu speakers too. The differences show up mainly in the script and in formal or literary vocabulary.

How do I know whether to use आप, तुम or तू?

आप is the safe default for anyone older, senior to you, or new to you. तुम is for friends, peers and people younger than you, once the relationship is established. तू is intimate between close friends and family, and insulting anywhere else, so it is best left alone early on. The AI flags it when your choice does not fit who you are talking to.

Can I practice speaking Hindi without a native speaker?

That is what Conversaide is for. The AI holds a natural Hindi conversation at your level whenever you have ten minutes, and corrects agreement, ने, word order and register as you go, with a short explanation each time.
